Clark Benton

Clark is a highly experienced Investment Banking professional with more than a decade of tenure on Wall Street.

Prior to Gorman Jones, Clark was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, where he spent twelve years providing M&A advisory, capital markets and corporate finance advice to clients, culminating in more than $160 billion in M&A transaction volume and equity and debt capital raising proceeds.

Clark was an early member of the firm’s MidCap Investment Banking team, focused on companies in the lower and middle market, giving him an appreciation for the intricacies of advising founder- and family-owned businesses, in addition to public companies.

Clark graduated from Washington & Lee University and began his career in New York. He later relocated to Atlanta and then Nashville to enhance J.P. Morgan’s coverage across the MidSouth region.

Clark holds FINRA Series 24, Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
